We let carbon out,
We can put the carbon back
Our Proposal: Since the problem was created by releasing CO2 into the atmosphere, we believe we can reverse the release of CO2 from the Earth by burying carbon. Every year, there are millions of acres of forest that is either dying or rotting.
We know that one cubic meter of wood can remove one ton of CO2 from the atmosphere. By burying one tree, it will grow anew and remove another ton of CO2 from the air. All we need is 12 trees per human per year to accomplish this goal.
We believe the first way is harvesting wood and store it. The first step is to clean the forestlands of places such as California and Greece of these decaying trees and underbrush. This way we also reduce deadly fires as well. Instead of burning this decayed wood, it is more advantageous to bury the wood, this way you avoid releasing the carbon into the atmosphere, and at the same time help create new trees and vegetation from the soil the wood is buried in.
This is one method to reduce CO2 emissions. Another way in this process is to do away with burning refuse and human remains, as these methods of disposal are detrimental to the environment as well.  We propose to fund awareness, and work with politicians to try and create more landfills for biological waste so that CO2 gets recycled back into the environment instead of burned that would release CO2 into the atmosphere.
By taking these two simple ways that are easy to implement all over our planet, we believe the reduction in global CO2 emissions can be significant, despite the simplicity of the idea. It is THE BIG solution, see the following tables, where we compare all CO2 removal possibilities. So that means that we will have to educate people to split their refuse into biological refuse that can be buried or turned into fertilizers and compost to ensure it avoids being burned.
Up to now, burying is seen as a “cheap way to get rid of the refuse”, and as a bad behavior of human beings to the planet earth. This is the primary obstacle of our plan, that will need funding and marketing to overcome.  Burying is the solution to save the climate by bringing back the carbon we took out.
With burying wood, we stop the CO2 impact of the human completely from the cycle. In the long term, we could bring all CO2 back into the earth, that humans took out of the earth and released into the atmosphere by burning coal, oil and natural gas.
